Hello! I am Yasmeen, 23 year old college student working part time in retail. Writing has always been a passion of mine, a concept that I never fully understand or grasp until someone told me I have a skill. Being a writer is one thing I have valued most since I found out that I possess a skill. Possessions can be lost, you know. So, now I hope to improve and grow in a community of my own kind.

 I am currently an English major (much like everyone else and their mother).  I grew up mostly in a little place called Stone Mountain, Georgia, and moved around the metro Atlanta area after I turned twelve. 

I had a tiny taste of the traveling life when I had a once in a lifetime opportunity to go to Austria for a 10 day spa/hotel adventure with my sister and ex brother-in-law. At least I got a free plane ticket out of that bastard. I also got a ticket to Manchester, England for a family wedding. As a native Georgian, I have to say that not being able to see a single ray of sunshine 10 whole days was not the brightest moment of my life
